Welcome!

Wow! It is hard to believe that the 2019-2020 school year is almost here.  I hope you and your family have enjoyed a wonderful summer vacation. Throughout the summer I have spent many days at the beach, by the pool, and on the bay.  I am well relaxed and anxiously awaiting the new school year.

I teach Reading Language Arts and Social Studies teacher. Mrs. Merritt teaches Science. Mr. Lloyd teaches Math to my homeroom and Mrs. Straight teaches Math to Mrs. Merritt's homeroom.

Mark your Calendars:

• Tuesday, August 27, 2019 from 5:30-8:00 p.m. is Open House. During the Open House you will have the opportunity to meet with your academic teachers, learn about curriculums and expectations for the upcoming year. A schedule for the evening was sent by the school. 5th grade starts at 5:30  reporting directly to homeroom;portable p-4  (Our homeroom is P-4 the portable on the bus loop closest to the fitness playground. I would come directly to the portable and avoid the foot traffic in the building.)

• Tuesday, September 3, 2019 is the First Day of School starting at 7:35 a.m. Enter the building by the girls’ locker room. If you arrive before 7:35 go to the cafeteria, wait to be dismissed, then walk down the hall by the gym and out to the portable. Please bring your supplies with you on the first day. Our homeroom is P-4 the portable on the bus loop closest to the fitness playground.
